Day 7
Hold the heavenly Mother's Hand
When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, "Woman, behold, your son" Then he said to the disciple, "Behold, your mother". And from that hour the disciple took her into his home (John 19:26-27).At the time of flood, even wild animals were given refuge in Noah's ark. So they were saved from destruction. St.Gertrude once got a vision similar to this. The saint saw many wild animals, lions, bears, and leopards, seeking refuge under the spread mantle of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Mary not only did not reject them, but she mercifully accepted and cherished them. Even the most hardened sinners are not abandoned when they seek refuge in Mary. They are accepted and saved from eternal damnation. Teachings of the church also refer to Mary as Noah's Ark. I personally did experience Mother Mary's care. There was a time in my life where I went very far from God. It was Mother Mary who helped me come back. Let us recite the memorare to Mother Mary.
Remember, O Most Gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known, that anyone who fled to your protection, implores your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided, inspired by this confidence I fly unto you.O virgin of virgins, my Mother,to you I come, before you I stand sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen
If you fall away from God. Come back holding Mother Mary's hand.Even if you are the greatest of sinners she will accept you and lead you to Jesus
